First of all, I know this post is late, but I still wanted to make up for it since it was supposed to go on 8 hours ago, and at this point I’m just really glad I didn’t promise free lunch like Kevin has.

Since Josh posted his robot ambition, the kids didn’t read the post, but only saw the cool R2D2 picture on the post, the natural conclusion was of course “Uncle Josh is building a R2 unit, he’s so cool”. Long story short, I told the kids we’re building a R2 unit, so then I checked out all the fancy R2 units people have already built, you know, the metal, remote controlled ones. Then I thought, why would I want a remote controlled car under an R2 ? What I really want lately is a home theatre server with projectors, a light bulb came on…I will build a R2 Home Theatre unit, on top under the dome will be the projector, and inside the body will be my board with all my 1TB of movies in full glory, at the bottom of the R2 unit will be a subwoofer.

Now the battle plan is out, I just need to do it…..Josh ?!
